City ASX is an exploration of a new city, built from the ground up. Currently cities are constrained by the availability of resources and their rates of consumption. Thus, cities and, more generally, social organisations that are driven by economies of scale are destined to eventually stop growing.

However, this is not the case when growth is driven by innovation and wealth creation. This difference suggests that, as population grows, major innovation cycles must be generated at a continually accelerating rate to sustain growth and avoid stagnation or collapse. Therefore, in my proposal the buildings are a constant reminder of wealth creation to the residents that live there. In a sense the city curates innovation..
